Jammu and Kashmir's police chief on Monday said terrorists in the state continued to receive funds through different channels like cross-border trade and electronic transfers.
The terrorists have adopted different channels to bring in money. The money also came to them through trade across the Line of Control (LoC)
The terrorists were also given money through electronic transfers... some money was brought by people directly. While some of the sources of the funding have been blocked, others are yet to be blocked as they remain undetected.
The districts of Udhampur, Reasi, Jammu, Samba and Kathua were now "free of militancy" while some terrorists were operating in the hilly areas of Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban in Jammu region.
