A group of 20 children from Kargil between the ages of 11 and 14 years visited Chandigarh today under the ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ project being run by the Indian Army. The team arrived in Chandigarh from Amritsar after visiting the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and the Wagah Border.
This was their first exposure out of their native village and the enthusiasm was hard to miss as they made the most of Nek Chand’s Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake in the morning.
